Let's try to make this Group into the home for all those very cool, Ode reading, brave social entrepreneurs who want to meet, learn, connect and realize progressive ideas in the San Francisco Bay Area.

GROUP MESSAGES:

Hello fellow changemakers! I'm recently been retained by TouchPoint Trust Group (www.touchpointtrustgroup.com) to source deals in the Triple Bottom Line sector.

TouchPoint! Trust Group, through its proprietary i4c Campaign™, has conceived a unique and highly effective method to attract investment capital to the market segment that will dominate the new business generation - companies committed to the Triple Bottom Line (People, Planet, Profit) sector.   TouchPoint! Trust Group has created the i4c Campaign to provide a conduit between the Arts and Entertainment industry and fund managers focused on Renewable Energy, Emerging Markets and Green Consumer products. The launch fund, named the "Lilith Impact Fund" is a partnership with the Lilith Fair & Sarah McLaughlin.   The Lilith Impact Fund is currently reviewing deals for investment. Parameters as follows: · Amount: Range of funds (financial “package” [cash/promo]) to be disbursed between the months of March and May 2010: $150-$500k. Structure of investment is Equity and potentially convertible-debt. · Revenue: Ideally profitable and seeking growth capital. At a minimum the company should be generating some revenue. This can be flexible if there are some significant operations and marketing/distribution deals in place. · Location: US based and distributed or operating in the US and distributing internationally, or operating internationally and distributing in the US. Some US base of operations preferred. · Industries: Ideally - LOHAS-focused companies. Also reviewing Cleantech/Renewables and Emerging Markets (underserved domestic companies [inner-city, minority owned, women owned] are good) · Ownership: Women- owned businesses are a “plus” considering Lilith market which is 80% women. This also flexible and we certainly will accept deals submitted by male-owned businesses as well.
